Journal of Chinese Modern Pediatrics (ISSN 1681-5459) is a scholarly publication of Pediatrics. The journal is published monthly by Hong Kong Medical Technologies Publisher, and the journal was started in 2004. The Chinese Academy of Clinical Medicine sponsored the Journal.

　　The range of the journal extends over the whole range of pediatrics field including clinical research and clinical progress. The purposes are to report the new important progress of clinical pediatrics research, advances in the academic exchanges of pediatrics in China and abroad, therefore to provide a field for exchanging experience, inspiring mutually and linking up information for who working for children and infant health care area. The main columns of the journal include original articles, reviews, clinical research, investigation, children’s heath management and education, clinical experience, etc. The original articles are written in Chinese or English, if in Chinese they include an Extended English Abstract.

　　The journal is compiled according to the related international standards. Table of contents, colophon, as well as the abstracts, key words of each thesis are written in English. Most of the articles are contributed from China, and some ones of them are from abroad. The journal has been indexed by many databases and searching publications since the starting of publication, such as:

　　Chinese BioMedical disc (CBMdisc), Chinese Medical Current Contents (CMCC), Chinese Scientific Journal Database (CSJD), China Journal Net (CJN), and Medical Library of Chinese PLA, et al.

　　The process of publication is strictly in conformity with international practice. As an academic media, we have invited a large number of professionals in children’s health field as members of editorial board.
