Chinese Academy of Clinical Medicine

The Chinese Academy of Clinical Medicine, former the Royal Chartered Hong Kong Medical Association affiliated to Hong Kong Hospital Authority, the main members of the Association are licensed pharmacists,practicing physicians and TCM practitioners. In 1997, Hong Kong was handed over to the People's Republic of China by the United Kingdom. The Royal Chartered Hong Kong Medical Association was transformed into corporatized organization according to the requirement of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (Hong Kong SAR Government). In 1999, Hong Kong Pharmaceutical and Technology Co., Ltd was registered with the development of the traditional Chinese medicine and establishment of Hong Kong “Chinese Medicinal Port”. At the same time, the Royal Chartered Hong Kong Medical Association was renamed as “the Chinese Academy of Clinical Medicine”.

The Chinese Academy of Clinical Medicine sponsors and grants periodicals for reporting basic medical researches, highlight on clinical practices. The Academy advocates sharing, inclusive and humanities idea in publications. Since 1997, the Academy has sponsored and published over 30 kinds of medical scholarly journals covering the field of clinical medicine, pharmaceutical, traditional Chinese medicine, hospital administration and medical imaging, etc. Journal of Chinese Clinical Medicine(JCCM), Honorary Editor-in-chief is Prof. John LEONG Chi-yan (well-known orthopedic surgeon, scientist and educator, Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Hong Kong Academy of Medicine), the members to the editorial board are consisted of famous biomedical scientists and clinicians from Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macao, Singapore, the United States of the America, etc. The JCCM is indexed in Chemical Abstract(US) and Index Copernicus ,IC(Poland, IC value is 4.82). Chinese Journal of Traditional and Western Medicine was started 8 years ago, thousands of authors and writers prefer reading it and submitting to it. In 2006, Chemical Abstract (US) and Russia's AJ indexed Chinese Journal of Traditional and Western Medicine. Chinese Journal of Medical Research, Chinese Journal of Medicine and Chinese Journal of Modern Surgery, etc. were indexed in CA at that time. Chinese Journal of Sexually Transmitted Infections, Chinese Journal of Current Hospital Administration and Journal of Chinese Medical Research are shared reputations in their field respectively。
